Preserving and pickling fun!

Community Garden Members Moira, Anne and Diny were invited to Ann and Andrew’s place in Moss Vale to convert excess produce into preserves for the upcoming winter.

We made plums into jam, green tomatoes into chutney and apples into dried apple rings.

We will share some of the bottled produce with our general membership and sell the rest on our market stall, next time we venture over to the Railway St Farmers Market on the greens.
